Graduate school can be an exciting yet challenging time for many people. This panel discussion with current McGill grad students will contextualize some aspects of graduate student life (such as academics, work-life balance and personal relationships) within a framework of health and well-being. The goal of this discussion is to help you recognize how self-care can be used as a strategy to achieve personal and academic success during your time at McGill.
- Identify services, resources, and tools that grad students can use to take care of themselves and others while at McGill (and after!)
- Identify common stressors in the grad student experience and how to cope with them.
- Demonstrate connections between self-care and personal and academic success.
